Responsibilities

  • Interpret IRS Code and Regulations
  • Write policy and procedure documents
  • Conduct gap analyses and write business requirements
  • Prepare documentation including presentations and flow charts
  • Perform technical analysis and process improvements
  • Respond to requests for proposals from clients
  • Support the development of innovative technology solutions
  • Train and manage staff located in remote delivery centers

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience
  • Be a licensed attorney, CPA, EA or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation

Pay

  • Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,100 to $187,000
  • Base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,600 to $212,800

Schedule

  • Most people in external, client serving roles work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year
