About the role

The opportunity is to serve as a tax operations team lead, overseeing data preparation, aggregation, report preparation, and other reporting activities for tax information reporting and transaction taxes. The role involves managing operations teams, ensuring consistent and standardized processes, and supporting client audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the tax operations team, handling escalations and resolving issues
• Manage operations team, monitoring progress, workload, and quality
• Oversee client interactions and internal audits
• Support service quality and manage engagement risk
• Ensure compliance with financial budgets and prepare relevant KRI/KPIs
• Develop and coach a team of tax professionals
• Travel 20% or less

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics
• A minimum of 8+ years of operational delivery experience
• CPA, EA, or licensed attorney
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong data analysis capabilities
• Experience managing a production line team

Benefits

Base salary range: $103,100 to $188,900 (US) / $123,800 to $214,900 (California)
