Responsibilities
- Interpret IRS Code and Regulations
- Write policy and procedure documents
- Conduct gap analyses and write business requirements
- Prepare documentation including presentations and flow charts
- Perform technical analysis and process improvement
- Respond to requests for proposals from clients
- Support the development of innovative technology solutions
- Train and manage staff located in remote delivery centers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience
- Be a licensed attorney, CPA, EA or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and a proven record of multitasking and working effectively across multiple projects and deadlines
- Great communication and leadership skills

At EY, we offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,100 to $187,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,600 to $212,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,100 to $187,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,600 to $212,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
