About the role
Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP seeks a California-licensed litigation attorney with 4+ years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative and dynamic team, defending national consumer financial services clients across a broad range of complex litigation matters in state and federal court.
Responsibilities
- Defend national consumer financial services clients in complex litigation matters in state and federal courts.
- Assume significant responsibilities from the outset, handling a diverse and challenging caseload.
- Contribute to the firm's commitment to professional development through comprehensive training, mentorship, and support.
Requirements
- Admitted to the California Bar and in good standing.
- An additional admission to Texas is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on mortgage litigation defense matters, in both state and federal courts.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

Pay
The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000, specifically for applicants who will perform work in California, if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary range, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications.
