Responsibilities
- Manage the annual consolidated system audit and coordinate timely audit completion
- Oversee tax compliance, ensuring timely filing of annual returns and coordination with tax advisors
- Prepare financial materials for Board and Committee meetings, improving reporting formats and automation
- Cook up external bond reporting and CHIA reporting, ensuring accuracy of financial communications
- Lead consolidated monthly close reporting and drive improvements in the close process
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and ensure consistent application of US GAAP
- Identify control gaps and implement improvements in internal controls and financial reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting, external audit coordination, or tax compliance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required
- Experience with accounting software and inter-fund accounting for subsidiary entities preferred
- Knowledge of nonprofit accounting and tax compliance regulations is a plus
Pay
$122,000 – $177,000 annually
