About the role
Since its founding in 1937, Krispy Kreme’s focus has remained the same - making fresh doughnuts using our founder’s original recipe. The brand’s iconic Hot Light lets consumers know when doughnuts are being made in the shop so they can stop in and enjoy them hot, right off the line. Krispy Kreme’s Financial Analyst, Global FP&A will play a critical role in supporting month-end reporting and financial analysis for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reporting for the Global Leadership Team.
- Analyze results and clearly explain variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Drive improvements in recurring reporting (automation, standardization, simplification).
- Partner cross-functionally to improve data quality and streamline processes.
- Contribute to KPI development and evolving executive reporting needs.
- Take on increasing ownership of the month-end close and reporting process over time.
- Build materials for leadership presentations and ad hoc requests.
- Learn and navigate core financial systems (Oracle, OneStream, Power BI).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- 0-2 years of experience in Finance, preferably in an FP&A role at the corporate/consolidated level at a publicly traded company.
- Experience with financial systems or BI tools (e.g., Oracle, OneStream, Power BI) is a plus.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communicator who can translate financial results into clear, actionable insights.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and tight deadlines.
- Comfort communicating insights to stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
