Your Role
- Prepare journal entries and supporting workpapers, ensuring accuracy and appropriate documentation
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Review recurring, non-recurring, and entity-specific journal entries and related workpapers
- Perform analytical review of variances between actual results, prior year results, and annual plan
- Prepare management reports to support business and financial decision-making
- Develop ad hoc reports, financial projections, and data analysis as requested
- Aid in tax preparation activities, as needed
- Support external audit preparation, including PBC schedules and auditor inquiries
- Participate in special projects and other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, and/or tax
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- CPA certification preferred, but not required
- Experience working with financial reporting systems (ERP or reporting tools)
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is a plus
- Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Pay
The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $53,500.00 - $75,000.00
Schedule
This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
