Financial Portfolio Management Lead / Manager

Our client in the Dallas, TX area is seeking a Financial Portfolio Management Lead and Manager to support a major enterprise investment portfolio. This is a long-term contract assignment with a high-impact technology finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial reporting for technology initiatives
• Partner with Technology, Finance, Accounting, and Portfolio leaders to support funding and investment decisions
• Manage capital and operating expense portfolios, financial governance, and compliance activities
• Oversee financial analysis, variance reporting, forecasting, accruals, and portfolio performance metrics
• Support asset capitalization, project accounting, CWIP tracking, and asset lifecycle management
• Develop executive dashboards, presentations, and financial recommendations for senior leadership
• Mentor and guide analysts while driving process improvements and reporting efficiencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, or investment management
• Leadership experience managing teams or mentoring finance professionals
• Strong experience with CapEx, OpEx, financial modeling, and executive reporting
• Knowledge of financial controls, audits, compliance, and governance frameworks
• Advanced Excel and experience with ERP, reporting, or portfolio management tools
• Experience supporting technology organizations or large project portfolios preferred
