About the role

This position is designated as hybrid (3 days per week in-office) and may be based in one of the following STV locations: New York, NY, Frisco, TX, or Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, offering strategic insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
  • Conduct monthly variance analyses to highlight any discrepancies from the budget and forecast, and suggest improvements for future periods.
  • Analyze financial data to uncover trends, assess risks, and explore growth opportunities.
  • Create and maintain financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making throughout the organization.
  • Accurately represent future work in project-level forecasts.
  • Support business insurance renewals and AAC industry trade publications by compiling relevant reporting data.
  • Enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Big 4 audit, tax, or transaction advisory, with preference given to those in the AEC industry.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, financial planning software, and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clarity and auditability of work products and thought processes.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Adaptable and willing to embrace change in a dynamic environment.
