About the role

This position is designated as hybrid (3 days per week in-office) and may be based in one of the following STV locations: New York, NY, Frisco, TX, or Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, offering strategic insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Conduct monthly variance analyses to highlight any discrepancies from the budget and forecast, and propose solutions to enhance future performance.
  • Analyze financial data to discern trends, assess risks, and explore opportunities for growth.
  • Create and maintain financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Ensure future work is accurately reflected in project-level forecasts.
  • Support business insurance renewals and AAC industry trade publications by compiling relevant reporting data.
  • Enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
  • At least 1+ years of experience in Big 4 audit, tax, or transaction advisory.
  • Experience in the AEC industry is a plus.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software, ERP systems).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
