FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST.
About the role
This position is within the Financial Management Level I certified category per NDAA 2012, Section 1599d. It requires the successful completion of a financial management system certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial management and analysis utilizing automated financial systems (e.g., NERP, DTS) to formulate budgets or cost estimates, verify expenditures, and recommend funding approval for an organization.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.
- Manage financial resources effectively to support organizational goals.
Requirements
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Qualifications
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Specialized experience must demonstrate the ability to perform financial management and analysis utilizing automated financial systems (e.g., NERP, DTS).
- In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
