About the role
Valle Vista Health System is a 132-bed, acute care behavioral health hospital located in Greenwood, IN, just minutes south of Indianapolis. Valle Vista features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.
Responsibilities
- Financial assessment of patients and determination of ability to pay
- Collection of deposits and negotiation of payment arrangements
- Securing financing of self-pay liability and identification of funding sources
- Tracking, monitoring, and reporting requirements
- Other duties as needed
Non-exempt position.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Two years prior admissions and/or collections experience in a health care setting required; psychiatric experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal skills; ability to deal effectively with all levels of hospital management and the public
- Average to high math skills
- Prior experience with on-line Admission/Billing system desirable
- Must be at least 21 years old
May be required to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.

Monday - Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
