About the role

Serves as a financial advocate for patients and parties responsible for payment, providing guidance on payment options and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Recommends alternative payment sources and financial assistance when necessary.
• Explains insurance benefits, eligibility, requirements, and estimated patient liability based on insurance analysis and verification.
• Communicates with insurance carriers, alternative payment sources, and healthcare providers to address patient needs and concerns.
• Works with patients to resolve billing disputes and ensure accurate payment processing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year related experience.
