Financial Controller

For our client, we are seeking a Financial Controller to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will support financial discipline around P&L visibility, margin improvement, and business performance. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Support and drive the company’s financial strategy for profitability and growth Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure profitability Evaluate and enhance financial processes for efficiency and scalability Lead financial reporting, accounting, and finance operations for accuracy and compliance Oversee high-level accounting activities and ensure regulatory compliance Manage relationships with global financial service providers to align performance with company objectives Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and regulatory adherence Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA preferred Minimum 5 years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience 2 years as a prior Controller within a SaaS or technology-driven organization Strong foundation in GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance Expertise in SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606), multi-entity consolidation, and subscription billing models Experience with NetSuite and process automation Experience scaling financial operations in a high-growth environment Benefits Remote option available, preference for Hybrid in Houston Opportunity to work in a fast-growing and innovative environment Be part of a pioneering team with breakthrough technologies Chance to connect financial data with strategic decision-making Participate in cross-departmental collaboration and drive impactful changes Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
