Financial Consultant Senior (PBM Pricing)

The Financial Consultant Senior (PBM Pricing) is responsible for reviewing and preparing interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results. Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages pricing and net cost guarantees for ASO clients.
• Identifies complex financial problems or issues, researches solutions, and implements corrective steps to achieve higher level of efficiency.
• Advises management of various financial models and recommendations.
• Prepares complex presentations analyses, tailored to suit various audiences.
• Prepares pharmacy financial planning and results, financial section of annual and quarterly reports to shareholders, applicable government reports, and budget reports.
• Is used as a resource by staff or outside departments.
• Trains and reviews the work of lower level Financial Analysts.

Requirements

• BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 5 years budgeting, forecasting and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Skills

• MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, and/or CFA preferred.
• PBM pricing experience preferred.
• Excel skill/experience preferred.
• SQL skill/experience preferred.

Schedule

Hybrid Workforce Strategy: Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
