This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pay
Annual salary: $70,000.00 + full state employee benefits.
Qualifications
- Completion of the curriculum requirements for a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, or a closely related field; and
- Five years of experience in professional accounting or closely related work, including two years in an administrative or supervisory capacity; OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage personnel and operating budget—oversee assigned division budget, coordinate personnel and operating budget activities, and prepare the annual budget work program.
- Review budget funding requests for merit and authenticity—validate grants awarded and funding sources, and approve budget requests.
- Review and approve expenditures and obligations—approve purchase requisitions and eligible expenditures.
- Prepare budget analysis reports and budget estimates—review budget-to-actual expenditure reports and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with established budget controls and business processes—assist in implementing budget controls in accordance with budget policies, state statutes, and federal regulations.
- Build and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, use common formulas, and create pivot tables to analyze large volumes of data for budget analysis and variance identification.
