Responsibilities

  • Identify ER patients through bedside assessment and interviews who may be eligible for financial and social assistance from community agencies.
  • Act as a liaison between the patient and community agencies.
  • Clearly document all activities.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position.
  • Medical terminology uses and understanding.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.

  • Computer skills appropriate to position.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years Healthcare customer service or Social Services experience.
  • Preferred: 1 year Healthcare customer service or Social Services experience with an Associate's Degree.

Skills

  • Community resource knowledge for unfunded/underfunded patients.

Competitive total reward package including benefits.

Schedule

Full time, 8:00am - 6:30pm (4 10-hour shifts), Monday through Friday / Every other Saturday.
