Key Responsibilities
- Create, interpret, and analyze financial statements, models, and other financial data to support decision making.
- Conduct analysis in areas such as: Department performance, Profitability and product/loan performance, Cost analysis, Pricing and valuation, Budgeting and forecasting, Financial modeling and scenario analysis, KPI reporting and ad-hoc analytics.
- Evaluate business transactions, planning cycle activities, and financial outcomes with clear, concise analysis.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert on financial metrics that drive incentive compensation plans.
- Analyze plan performance, model payout impacts, ensure compliance with policies, and provide insights to leadership.
- Partner with business units to support design, implementation, and administration of incentive programs for large employee populations.
- Collaborate with leaders across finance, business lines, business intelligence, and affiliates.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships to ensure alignment between financial strategies and business objectives.
- Drive business process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and automation.
- Identify data issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 4–6+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, analytics, or incentive compensation.
- Experience in financial services or mid‑to‑large financial institutions preferred.

- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to develop financial models and produce accurate, well‑structured reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences—from front-line bankers to executives.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in deadline‑driven environments.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
- Strong initiative and drive for continuous improvement.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; strong PowerPoint and Word capabilities.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Business Objects, or Python highly preferred.
- Experience with Hyperion Essbase, SmartView, Financial Reporting Studio, or similar planning/reporting tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools desirable.
