Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing costs, operational performance, and financial variances across multiple facilities.
- Maintain and manage standard costing within the ERP system.
- Prepare monthly variance reports with detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Partner with Plant Controllers, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to improve financial performance.
- Monitor inventory valuation, labor costs, production reporting, and material usage.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models, dashboards, and management reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Improve reporting efficiency through automation and standardized reporting processes.
- Support supplier cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives.
- Aid with weekly reporting, month-end close activities, and financial planning.
- Provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting accuracy and business processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, or Manufacturing Finance.
- Manufacturing, food manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost structures.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboards, and financial modeling.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to manufacturing facilities as required.
