About The Role

The Financial Analyst role at RRD is a vital position responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing complex financial concepts to support strategic planning, forecasting, modeling, and internal controls. The successful candidate will perform in-depth technical analyses to evaluate the company's current and future financial performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

• Gather and analyze financial data
• Prepare comprehensive reports
• Conduct economic research on various financial metrics, including rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, and investment opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline (preferred)
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial analysis or related fields (required)
• CPA certification (preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent knowledge of budgeting, cash management, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with financial software and tools
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
• Experience working with senior management and cross-functional teams
• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of industry standards and governmental regulations impacting financial practices

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze income statements, balance sheets, consolidated financial statements, and various accounting reports
• Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate operational results and overall financial position
• Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making
• Conduct economic research and studies on rates of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment opportunities
• Analyze options for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, including product line profitability analysis
