Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to support our manufacturing operations at the Carson Plant. This role provides financial planning, analysis, and reporting to guide strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing operations, including production costs, overhead, and capital expenditures.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, identify drivers, and recommend cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support operational decisions.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to provide financial guidance and support initiatives.
- Conduct variance analysis, evaluate capital investments, and support ad-hoc financial modeling and reporting projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and their application in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling; advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Pay
Base compensation range: $75,000 - 105,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.
Schedule
