Financial Analyst (Plant Manufacturing)

The Financial Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of the Taunton site. This position is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial insights through cost analysis and variance reporting. By partnering closely with both finance and operations teams, the analyst ensures that leadership has the data and analysis needed to make informed decisions and drive performance toward company goals.
Essential Functions
Deliver Financial Insights
Conduct detailed cost analysis and establish standard costs to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Provide ongoing financial analysis to site leadership.Lead Month-End Close Activities
Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Prepare and distribute management reports that highlight key financial metrics and trends.Support Cross-Functional Financial Needs
Provide non-routine financial data and insights to the Multi-Site Controller, Operations Controller, Business Unit Controller, and other internal stakeholders as needed.Drive Continuous Improvement
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including World Class Manufacturing (WCM), loss identification, and cost-reduction efforts.
Use financial data to identify opportunities for operational efficiency.Execute Special Projects
Complete ad hoc projects and financial analyses assigned by the Site Controller. These may include deep dives into cost drivers, capital investment evaluations, or process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications/Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in financial analysis & cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to analyze financial data & trends.
Proficiency in financial concepts & math.
Experience with analytic tools & software, such as SQL, Excel, etc.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $ $89,600.00 to $ $139,100.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
