About the role
The Financial Analyst II prepares all properties budgets, assists the department Manager in forecasting property revenues & expenses, and prepares property operational reports. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Essential functions and responsibilities
- Maintain the Infor PM10 system, which allows for the entry of the annual operational budget and annual forecasts.
- Prepare and maintain financial modeling on capital expenditures for all properties.
- Modify and maintain the Daily Operation Report expenses, with focus on accuracy to actual costs and updated reporting to suit the corporation's needs.
- Assist the Budgeting & Analysis Manager with monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting of the Corporation's revenues and expenses.
- Prepare flux analyses, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, to budget and prior year financials.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly operational reports and associated data tables.
- Compile and prepare corporations quarterly operation presentation.
- Attend and participate in property monthly financial reviews.
- Assist Operations and Marketing Analysts with projects and analyses, as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
- Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
- Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Attend all necessary training and meetings.
- Assist in other projects, as directed.

Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years financial or operational analysis experience required, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experienced with MS Access and Word preferred.
- Experienced with Infinium, Showcase, ACSC and Infor PM10 preferred.
Skills and abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Physical requirements and work environment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise levels increase to loud.
- Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.
- Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the property.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, noisy casino environment and effectively deal with guests, management and employees in all situations.
- Must be able to lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, or stretch for filing purposes.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods working at a computer terminal.
Pay
Starting rate $61,336.77. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
