Title: Financial Analyst II
Department: Finance
Immediate Supervisor: Finance Manager
Status: Exempt Salaried Position

Purpose

The Financial Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information integral to the core objectives and requirements of each department.

Principle Accountabilities

• Compile and consolidate reports, month-end journal entries, audit requests, and schedule recurring meetings.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for plant accounting staff.
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual business unit reports and ensure financial information is recorded accurately.
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to the manager.
• Perform financial forecasting and reconcile internal accounts.
• Perform any and all financial analyst-related tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Essential Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills and a proven ability to build complex financial models
• Proficiency in Consolidation and ERP software, such as LV and JDE, preferred
• Knowledge of Cost Accounting Systems, preferred
• Experience with SQL, preferred
• Results and deadline-oriented with the ability to manage multiple assignments and work extended hours as dictated by the workload
• A strong desire to professionally grow and the ability to enthusiastically embrace new challenges
• A team player with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
