About the Opportunity
This role plays a key part in managing investment accounting operations and maintaining the investment accounting subledger. The Financial Analyst II - Investment Accounting is responsible for providing financial analysis and management reporting that supports informed decision-making. The position ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements related to investment accounting.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile investment trading and cash activities in the investment accounting system
- Run valuation processes and perform associated controls
- Prepare net investment income analysis and management reports
- Prepare investment disclosures on STAT and GAAP bases
- Prepare investment regulatory reports such as Schedule D
- Assist with audit inquiries for GAAP and STAT
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and organizational policies
- Manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders regarding deliverables and deadlines
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems and reporting methods
- Streamline processes through automation
- Collaborate with senior management and teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy
- Maintain data management integrity and control in financial reporting tools
- Exercise judgment to address reporting redundancies and promote consolidation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, data manipulation, and process improvements using technology
- Ability to manipulate and rationalize large datasets
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret and apply financial and analytical techniques effectively
- Knowledge of ePAM is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay
Pay range: $61,900.00 to $91,300.00, salary commensurate with experience, location, and other factors.
