Responsibilities
- Develop complex financial models for large-scale real estate development projects.
- Analyze financial and operational data to support investment decisions.
- Prepare reports and presentations for investors, lenders, and senior management.
- Model fund waterfalls and promote structures for real estate transactions.
- Auxiliary underwriting of investment funds and equity partners.
- Aid with acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and ongoing project analysis.
- Gather market intelligence and industry research from internal and external sources.
- Support public financing initiatives, including Opportunity Zone Funds, Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs), TIRZ, and sales tax agreements.
- Collaborate with consultants and project stakeholders to consolidate financial information.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in accounting coursework.
- One or more years of experience in financial analysis or real estate analysis.
- Experience in commercial real estate development, acquisitions, or underwriting is preferred.
- Background in real estate, private equity, or investment banking is an advantage.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and Macros.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication abilities.
