Financial Analyst

Essential Functions

• Perform financial analysis of cash flows, job cost tracking and project funding.
• Create financial reporting packages that include property cash flows, construction completion, valuations and loan sizing's as well as property and borrower/investor analysis.
• Serve as a liaison with equity partners, third party owners and lenders.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers and third party vendors/consultants to organize and facilitate funding and draw requests with various capital sources.
• Identify budget variances and assist in preparing change orders to project budgets.
• Prepare monthly financial reports to meet joint venture and lending requirements.
• Analyze projects for completion, make necessary journal entries and reconcile general ledgers to project budgets.
• Prepare and present monthly Project Performance Review reports as required by management.
• Construct and manage detailed Microsoft Excel models as they relate to project specific cash flow and equity partner distributions.

Skills & Abilities

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/MBA preferred.
• Experience: 3-5+ years of relevant experience. Strong emphasis placed upon your record of teamwork, communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Timberline software a plus.
