About the role
The Financial Aid Advisor I serves as the primary reviewer of all new accounts set up in the Scholarships and Financial Aid department, as well as the university. They also administer the OMEGA database of outside scholarship donors, totaling approximately $100 million annually, and reconcile the database to ensure compliance. Additionally, they advise and provide information on student financial aid and scholarships to prospective and current students and their families.
Responsibilities
- Advises and counsels students on financial aid.
- Collaborates with on-campus representatives regarding students' financial aid concerns.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work individually or as a team in a dynamic organization.
