Job Summary
We are seeking a Financial Aid Administrator to join our team at Unitek Learning's Fremont campus. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Aid, you will manage the financial aid process, from awarding state and federal aid to students to default management and financial literacy programs.
Responsibilities
- Process Verification and Disbursements
- Awards state and federal aid to eligible students according to regulations and policy
- Counsels students and parents
- Provides estimates and packaging information
- Manages defaults and financial literacy programs
- Audits and runs reports to ensure work integrity
- Interacts with other departments to assist students
- Maintains up-to-date information on new federal regulations
- Affords assistance with private loans and VA benefits
- Performs regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years of Financial Aid experience
- Campus VUE experience preferred
- Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is recommended
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Attention to detail with the capability to multi-task

Pay Range
$23-$32 (Depending on level of Title IV experience)
