About the role

Huron’s Business Advisory team provides Restructuring & Turnaround services, Business Valuation & Transaction Opinions and high-profile Litigation and Investigation services. Our clients are companies, Boards of Directors, private equity firms, lenders, attorneys and other financial stakeholders. We provide these services across all industries to both US-Based and multi-national organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the engagement teams with financial modeling, industry and market research, financial reporting, financial statement analysis and pitchbook preparation.
  • Lead project work streams utilizing Huron tools and methodologies—as well as innovative analytics and technologies—implementing complex, comprehensive solutions.
  • Collaborate with client staff and leadership while managing and mentoring junior Huron staff.
  • Create and implement viable solutions to achieve a common objective.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience with business valuation, restructuring & turnaround work, investment banking, financial advisory/consulting, litigation consulting, public accounting or audit-related consulting.
  • Deep financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and data management experience, and ability to identify key operational performance drivers.
  • Demonstrate a high-level of proficiency with:
    • Business Valuation concepts
    • 13 week cash flow forecast
    • 3-statement financial models
    • Financial reporting (monthly operating reports, statements & schedules)
    • Operational improvement and overhead analysis
    • Pitchbook preparation

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Candidates may live anywhere in the contiguous US.

Preferred

  • Have or working toward one or more of the following certifications: such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this job is $120,000 - $165,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.

Schedule

This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
