Job Duties
- Analyze monthly financial statements and present financial results to supervisor and various levels within the company.
- Perform account reconciliations/reviews.
- Develop/calculate significant, complex accounting estimates.
- Calculate bonuses and profit sharing estimates based on personnel compensation plans.
- Aids in the monthly and yearly closing processes.
- Responsible for recording and reviewing recurring journal entries.
- Assists in the preparation and execution of the company’s compliance and regulatory audits.
- Identifies and reports accounting related issues to appropriate management.
- Exemplifies teamwork and camaraderie.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
- Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co.
- Proactively seeks and participates in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
- Participates in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
- Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2+ years of work related experience
- A general knowledge of accounting principles required
- Strong analytical skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 15% travel required
