Financial Accountant

About the role

We are searching for a full-time Financial Accountant to join our Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) department. This role will be based in Naperville.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger entries
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Utility billing
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with preparing financial statements
• Prepare government-required reports
• Advise clients on internal accounting matters
• Payroll processing
• Compliance reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field of study is required
• CPA or actively pursuing a license preferred
• 0-2 years of general accounting experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Highly motivated, self-starter

Pay

The anticipated, average salary range for this position is $60,000-$62,000, with the final offer determined based on business-related factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, education, skill set, and professional certifications.
