About the role
Performs difficult skilled technical work maximizing, tracking and reporting revenues, preparing budgets and reports, overseeing various financial operations, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Deputy Finance Officer.
Responsibilities
- Approves and posts purchase card transactions and provides support to departments on purchase card related issues.
- Reconciles general ledger account balances and prepares detailed schedules for external auditors.
- Responsible for new/change vendor requests from departments.
- Records daily revenue batches.
- Provides support for the Purchasing Officer.
- Assists in the preparation of the County Indirect Cost Plan.
- Assists with the preparation, maintaining, and submission of monthly reports and records.
- Establishes and maintains various records, reports, and files.
- Abides by, enforces and participates in the implementation and ongoing oversight of Randolph County Government safety standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Associates/Technical degree in accounting, or related field and three to five years' experience working in accounting, grant writing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay
$57,285.40 – $62,548.00 annually
