Finance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking experienced Strategic Finance professionals to contribute to projects focused on developing high-quality financial analysis and decision-making frameworks. In this role, you will work through self-contained business cases using mock financial and market data, producing strategic finance deliverables that reflect real-world corporate decision-making. Your expertise will help support the development and evaluation of advanced AI systems. No prior AI experience is required—your financial and strategic expertise is what matters most.

Responsibilities

• Build business cases and investment appraisals using NPV, IRR, payback period, and other financial evaluation methodologies.
• Evaluate project, product, and make-versus-buy decisions using structured financial analysis.
• Develop capital allocation recommendations by ranking investment opportunities against hurdle rates and portfolio objectives.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses across key business drivers, including demand, pricing, costs, and operating assumptions.
• Analyze pricing and discount economics to support pricing decisions, deal approvals, and margin optimization.
• Conduct market sizing and competitive landscape analyses to assess growth opportunities and market potential.
• Develop cohort analyses and unit economics to evaluate business and customer performance.
• Establish cost baselines and identify savings opportunities to support cost reduction initiatives.
• Present findings in clear, structured business cases and financial recommendations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in strategic finance, corporate strategy, corporate planning, FP&A, or a closely related function within an operating company.
• Demonstrated ownership of significant financial, capital allocation, pricing, or strategic decisions presented to senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, investment analysis, scenario planning, and business case development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to structure professional financial deliverables.
