Finance Operations Specialist

Join the Finance Department at Amwins Self-Funded as a Premium Support Analyst in Scottsdale, AZ. This role offers a hybrid work environment with up to 2 days of remote work per week after completing the training period.

About the role

We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to support premium operations, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve financial reporting discrepancies. This position also involves identifying strategic opportunities and handling special projects.

Responsibilities

• Support workflow in the Premium Operations inbox and Premium Report, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and service standards are met.
• Perform monthly audits to ensure accuracy between Amlink, Premium Report, and the monthly register.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reconcile and resolve discrepancies in financial reporting, such as Aging Premium Receivables.
• Create reporting tools and metrics to increase visibility, drive quicker issue resolution, and reduce recurrence.
• Handle additional tasks and special projects as necessary.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in analytical tasks, billing processes, and reconciliation activities.
• Intermediate Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint is highly desirable.
• 2+ years of experience in Premium Billing, Processing, AR/AP, or similar roles.
• Prior experience in insurance, healthcare, or premium accounting sectors is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and a desire to learn.
