Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and lead cross-team ownership for a key Reality Labs vertical within RL Finance, empowering the team to achieve their goals
- Spearhead the development and implementation of standardized processes across the RL Cross team, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency
- Lead close and forecast cycles across a key Reality Labs vertical within RL Finance, including defining timelines, templates, and processes, and the preparation of flux commentary and forecasts
- Help execute the annual budget process, including partnering with vertical FP&A teams to provide support on workstreams to allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and execute operational plans on
- Develop and maintain proactive, collaborative partnerships between the RL vertical FP&A teams, RL Consolidations, Corporate FP&A and other cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Technical Accounting, and Enterprise Engineering
- Support risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance
- Provide thought partnership and foster collaboration across the RL Finance organization
Requirements
- Well-rounded knowledge of core FP&A concepts
- Experience building cross-functional relationships and partnering with senior leadership across organizations
- Proven Excel and analytical skills to translate large amounts of data into both insights and recommendations
- Experience prioritizing competing workstreams based on impact, deadlines, and stakeholder needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, business strategy, business operations, and/or analytics
- Superior communication skills to tailor messaging for audiences of varying levels of seniority and technical experience
- Understanding of financial statement analysis and core financial planning processes
- Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships and partnering with senior leadership across organizations
- Proven Excel and analytical skills to translate large amounts of data into both insights and recommendations
- Experience prioritizing competing workstreams based on impact, deadlines, and stakeholder needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Experience driving operational efficiency and execution
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience working with financial planning systems, preferably Oracle products (e.g., Hyperion Essbase)
- Experience with improving financial planning systems and tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Planning/Essbase/Fusion/Cloud) to drive process efficiencies
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
Pay
$120,000/year to $175,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
