Finance Manager, PARP Finance Team (Pickup and Return Points)
About the role
The Pickup and Return Points Finance team seeks a data-driven Finance Manager with a strong business and finance acumen to help make strategic and ambiguous decisions that have significant growth and profitability trade-offs. This role is strategic in nature, requiring business partnering skills and curiosity to invent and conceive financial sustainable solutions to scale globally.
Responsibilities
- Partner/support senior leadership on product/project roadmap based on financial and operational efficiency improvements
- Build financial models to support new product and expansion initiatives
- Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning
- Identify, resolve, or provide guidance to resolve complex data integrity issues
- Improve controls to address financial risk
- Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs
- Make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where there may be scarce or difficult to procure data
- Communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner
- Adjust style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
