About the role
The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in the Operations Finance End to End North America team, focusing on cost reduction and business improvement through partnerships with teams across Operations and Technology.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data to create meaningful reports for business improvement and cost reductions
- Perform root cause analysis using data to uncover core issues and provide actionable insights
- Create and implement policies and programs to guide the organization towards maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
- Develop and maintain financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decisions
- Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure accuracy, automation, and timeliness of key decision data
- Deliver forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and interpret results to drive business insights
Requirements
- Expertise in collecting, analyzing, and managing quantitative data
- Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
- Experience in Accounts Receivable or Account Payable
- Experience in applying KPIs to analyses and creating financial and operational reports
- Experience in process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience in continuous improvement projects with measurable results
- Ability to solve complex business challenges with accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
- 6+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Account Payable
- 6+ years of experience in applying KPIs to analyses
- 6+ years of experience in creating financial and operational reports/data sets
- 6+ years of experience in process improvements with automation and analysis
- 6+ years of experience in continuous improvement projects with measurable results
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, look ups)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguous situations
