About the Role
Atlantic Group is hiring a Finance Manager in New York, NY for our client, supporting management company accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and operational finance. This growth-oriented opportunity is ideal for a CPA with a blend of public accounting and private investment management experience who is looking to work closely with executive leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role offers broad exposure across accounting, forecasting, tax, treasury, and strategic finance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes while overseeing general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and audit support.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including expenses, payroll accounting, accounts payable, and other financial operations.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, analyze financial performance, and prepare financial models to support business planning.
- Monitor cash activity, support cash flow forecasting, and assist with treasury and banking activities.
- Prepare financial analyses and reporting while partnering with internal stakeholders to support business and operational decisions.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, reporting, and automation while supporting broader finance initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA designation is strongly preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including experience within investment management, financial services, or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP, accounting, or financial reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
Pay
$150,000 – $175,000/year + bonus
Schedule
Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
