Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage monthly operational plans, reporting calendars, and team priorities.
- Lead efforts to improve and streamline reporting through Business Intelligence (BI) and AI tools.
- Support business unit reporting, performance tracking, forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing financial analysis.
- Build and maintain dashboards and analytical tools using Power BI, Oracle, and Excel.
- Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and adherence to financial controls.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations to improve reporting processes and data flow.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements that increase efficiency.
- Recommend enhancements to finance policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
- Maintain departmental costs and support resource planning and budget management.
- Manage monthly accruals, forecasting updates, and month-end close activities.
- Lead cross-functional financial initiatives, coordination with stakeholders to ensure timely execution and delivery.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, communicate key variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to Finance leadership and business partners.
- Develop tools and tracking models to improve visibility and accountability for capital projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 8-10+ years of progressive Finance and FP&A experience.
- 2-4 years of experience supervising or leading Finance professionals.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or similar.
- Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, resolve operational issues, and implement process improvements.
- Collaborative leadership style with experience partnering across multiple business functions.
