About the role
Databricks is seeking a Finance Manager to join their FP&A team. This role serves as the strategic finance partner to the Product Support organization, driving financial rigor and operational insights across support offerings.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a workforce management capacity model in partnership with Product, Support, Data Science, and StratOps teams
- Own and operate the Support P&L, driving visibility into cost structure, margin dynamics, and financial performance
- Design and implement new KPIs and reporting frameworks for both new and existing Support offerings
- Partner with Commercialization on impact analysis for new Support offerings, assessing financial viability, pricing implications, and expected return
- Analytically solve problems by gathering and synthesizing large datasets to deliver clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership
- Nurture deep, trusted partnerships with Product, Support, Data Science, StratOps, Accounting, IT, and their respective technical teams
- Guide process improvement, standardization, and reporting enhancements across Support finance workflows
Requirements
- Experience in financial analysis and operational modeling
- Strong executive presence to communicate with senior leadership
- Experience in solving hard problems independently
- Deep understanding of financial strategies and operations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Proven track record of delivering financial results and driving strategic initiatives
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and financial modeling tools

The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
