Main Responsibilities
- Finance voice of the Global Franchise, effectively interacts with New Product Planning, Business Development, R&D (Portfolio Review, Integrated P&Ls), Countries, Industrial Affairs and Supply Chain (Capacity planning, Volumes analysis), while supporting the Head of the Franchise and the Immunology Leadership team (Strategy Plans, Business Cases, Performance reviews, Quarterly landing etc).
- Responsible for the Franchise Global Controlling & Reporting Process including P&L, Headcount and Investments and Resource Allocation during the monthly closing, investor relations, rolling forecast, budget and strategic planning processes.
- Work closely with the CoE to improve ways of working and foster efficiencies.
- Liaise with the Market Access & Pricing, Forecasting and Competitive Intelligence teams to understand the external environment evolution and the corresponding financial impacts.
- Lead the Global Strategic Planning Process for the Therapeutic Area including key investments (External Partners, Infrastructure, Commercial Operations, R&D/IA Interface) and Lead Interaction with the Sanofi Group Strategy, the PFR team and Finance Leadership Team.
- Maintain oversight of the forecast/ performance versus the external consensus and support the Investor Relations team to prepare the key highlights for the quarterly earning calls & investor events.
- Prepare and present strategic investment projects and analysis required by Sanofi Group and the Sanofi Leadership team and be the Finance representative of the TA for Strategic projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or a closely related field is required; master’s degree in finance or the Sciences/ MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional business experience within Finance, Accounting or closely related field is required.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in Business Partnering to commercial teams required.
- Advanced excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, V-look up etc.)
- Working knowledge of BOOST TM1 and ThinkCell preferred
- Strategic agility with big-picture orientation and intellectual curiosity
- Strong communication skills required (presentations, listening, written).
- Strong interpersonal skills, business partnering, and collaboration required.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence senior level stakeholders as well as project operational level and externally with key partners is required.
- Ability to work transversally and within a highly matrixed environment is required.
- Global or international experience and ability to work with a diverse team is preferred.
