Director, Finance
Financial Strategy and Leadership
Oversee the organization’s Accounting department, managing and mentoring direct team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and process improvement; develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s long-term goals.
Business Partnering and Decision Support
Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate new projects or investments; support pricing strategies, cost management and margin optimization; present financial results and provide financial insight to guide operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.
Automation and Efficiency
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of finance systems and automated workflows to drive operational efficiency, enhance data accuracy, reduce manual processes, and support scalable financial operations.
Compliance and Risk Management
Oversee accounting, reporting and compliance to ensure accurate financial statements and adherence with regulatory requirements; implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets.
Asset Management
Safeguard cash flow, capital, and risk exposure through effective treasury and risk management practices.
External Relationship Management
Manage key external relationships, including shareholders, supply chain, audit, insurance and banking relationships.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, and a minimum of ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience required.
- MBA and/or CPA preferred.
