Finance Coordinator - Western Kentucky Univ.

Job Responsibilities

• Counting cash receipts
• Processing vendor invoices in the AP system
• Balancing and researching AP statements from vendors
• Providing second counts for change orders and daily safe counts
• Populating and balancing daily sales reports
• Drafting revenue recognition entries
• Tracking cashier statistics and sending data to operations team
• Entering sales data into the weekly operating report
• Cleaning up cash room for all football home games and some men’s basketball home games
• Assisting Senior and Assistant Controller in special projects and client and employee facing responsibilities
• Operating technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office

Qualifications

• 2+ Years of Experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• OR Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Excellent written/interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to optimally connect with employees
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong digital literacy of additional Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc)
• Internet, typing, other databases and spreadsheet software
