Responsibilities

  • Serve as an integral member of the Business Office team, supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the school.
  • Partner with the team to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of business office functions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer service, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Manage student account activity, including billing, payments, cash receipts, and account reconciliation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students and families regarding billing inquiries and payment support.
  • Monitor account activity and assist with collections and account resolution as needed.
  • Support the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment administration, and maintenance of related records.
  • Maintain accurate vendor information and support annual reporting requirements, including W-9 and 1099 administration.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Administer the student banking program, including account maintenance, transaction processing, and customer support.
  • Oversee the operation of the campus store, including inventory management, purchasing, sales, and textbook programs.
  • Coordinate seasonal and special initiatives, such as textbook buyback programs.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Business Office as needed.
  • Pursue opportunities for professional development and assume additional responsibilities as skills and experience grow.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Absorbed an associates degree in Accounting or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
