About the role

We are a stealth mode Healthcare AI startup seeking a Finance Operations Analyst/Associate to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to build the finance operations function from the ground up, ensuring smooth billing, preventing errors, and supporting operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Own or build finance operations at a startup, portfolio company, or similarly fast-paced environment (billing, AR/AP, reconciliations, cash ops).
  • Partner with GTM, product, or ops teams to solve operational problems and keep the business running smoothly.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and coordinate with outsourced providers when needed.
  • Implement or maintain finance systems (ERP, billing tools, expense systems, AP/AR platforms) and improve existing workflows.
  • Maintain high standards for accuracy, documentation, and operational quality.
  • Use strong modeling skills to inform real decisions, not just spreadsheets.

Requirements

  • A self-starter with an obsessive drive to build great systems and processes.
  • Think independently and take an operational problem from concept to execution.
  • Enjoy designing clear, scalable solutions and work through ambiguity.
  • Can work through complex or messy workflows and constantly improve, refine, and automate processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience owning or building finance operations at a startup, portfolio company, or similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable managing day-to-day accounting operations and coordinating with outsourced providers.
  • Strong modeling skills that have informed real decisions.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with ERP systems, billing tools, and AP/AR platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually
