About the role

The Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility, Inc., d.b.a. Energize Delaware, is a non‑profit organization dedicated to inspiring sustainable energy solutions for a thriving environment and economy. The Finance Officer will lead the organization’s financial management, capital strategy, and clean‑energy finance programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial management, capital strategy, and clean‑energy finance programs, including Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C‑PACE) and Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) programs, as well as potential future bond issuances.
• Assist the Executive Director in developing the annual budget and budget forecast.
• Manage the loan repayment and collections portfolio, including coordination with third‑party loan service partners.
