Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of cost and pricing proposals for procurements.
  • Develop pricing strategy and conduct cost negotiations for contracts and work orders.
  • Assist headquarters with government audits.
  • Develop the office budget in conjunction with the designated local manager.
  • Manage the office’s financial issues, including compliance with budget and contractual requirements, financial reporting, invoice approval, and coordination with headquarters accounting.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor the unit’s operating budget.
  • Review and negotiate terms and conditions of solicitations, teaming agreements, contracts, subcontracts, and other agreements.
  • Manage post-award contract administration and closeout.
  • Oversee procurement functions to ensure compliance with contractual terms, government regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving subcontract issues.
  • Advise office management and staff on contractual, cost estimating, pricing, procurement, and financial issues.
  • Manage day-to-day staff activities, including performance feedback, appraisals, and training.
  • Approve paid time off (PTO) requests and ensure compliance with human resources policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the unit’s management and staff in relevant areas of expertise.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent additional directly related experience).
  • 10 years of related experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Ability to interact with senior leadership and all levels of staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to oversee concurrent preparation of complex projects with close attention to detail and coordination.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required (20% - 40%).
  • An appropriate and valid driver’s license is required.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $102,170.00 – $178,776.00. Compensation is determined by factors including role, responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, education/training, and geographic location. Bonuses are discretionary and may not apply to this position.
