About the role

A professional research administration position focusing on post-award grant/contract activities. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team lead on the administration of grants awarded to the University.
  • Provide analytical oversight and fulfill compliance requirements for grants and contracts.
  • Perform post-award accounting tasks such as invoicing and financial reporting.
  • Work closely with staff in other departments and stay updated on new regulations and agency guidance.
  • Resolve problems and ensure grant and contract administration complies with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Communicate information about grants and contracts to faculty and staff.
  • Multi-task and manage a high volume of email in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with high initiative and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An accounting background.
  • Familiarity with financial statements.

Pay

$24.04 per hour

Schedule

Onsite; Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm
