Fill-In Rest Area Technicians Needed (Memaloose Rest Area - Mosier)

About the role

Fill-In Rest Area Technicians are needed at the Memaloose Rest Area (11 miles west of The Dalles).

Responsibilities

• Maintain restrooms, buildings, and grounds clean and safe
• Conduct security checks to ensure visitor safety
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance
• Keep walkways, roadways, and parking areas clear

Requirements

• Works well independently and with others
• Friendly, approachable, and able to assist the public, law enforcement, and staff
• Experience (or ability) in janitorial tasks, basic repairs, and groundskeeping
• Reliable, follows instructions, and completes tasks accurately

Qualifications

• Must reside within 60 minutes of the rest area
• Valid driver's license issued by the state where the employee resides

Skills

• Independent work ability
• Public assistance skills
• Basic repair and maintenance skills
• Physical labor skills (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing, reaching)
